New interconnection hubs in the Nordics

We are excited to announce the birth of 5 new interconnection hubs in the Nordics: DE-CIX Oslo, DE-CIX Kristiansand, DE-CIX Copenhagen, DE-CIX Esbjerg, and DE-CIX Helsinki. Register now to join our launch events.

The region is one of world’s most highly developed digital markets and has seen significant growth in data center investments in recent years as demand for hosting, storage, and cloud deployments has increased. Our exchanges and interconnection services will serve the regional connectivity demand, which is boosted by the new transatlantic and intercontinental submarine cables bridging the Nordics with North America and Asia.

Our initial partners in the Nordics are Bulk Data Centers and Digital Realty. The DE-CIX exchanges will be available in the BULK data centers in Oslo, Kristiansand (Norway), and Esbjerg (Denmark), and in the Interxion data center in Copenhagen. With more coming soon, including Sweden.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Esbjerg, Denmark

Esbjerg is a North Sea port town on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. It is the fifth-largest city in Denmark, and the largest in West Jutland. DE-CIX Esbjerg is located in the Bulk Campus DK01 data center.

Helsinki

Finland's capital sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland, with sea cables connecting it to the Nordics as well as to the Baltics. It is the leading seaport and industrial city of the country with strong tech expertise and flourishing start-up scene.
